Nutrien in Perry, MO is seeking an entry-level CDL Delivery Driver to join our on-site logistics team. You will transport fertilizers and related products to customers, perform pre-trip checks, and follow safety and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• CDL is required; hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Must have a driving record meeting company standards.
• Must pass DOT physical and medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to designated orders safely and accurately.
• Complete and maintain records per company and government regulations.
• Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed.
• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer of bulk chemical and fertilizer using forklift or hand truck.
• Keep abreast of dangers and hazards of products and take proper precautions.
• Able to perform all responsibilities safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload and maintain equipment cleanliness.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive company trucks to designated sprayer or fertilizer order, safely and accurately
• Complete and maintain records as required by the company and government regulations
• Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed
• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer of bulk chemical and fertilizer at the facility, safely and efficiently by using forklift or hand truck
• Keep abreast of the dangers and hazards of products and take proper precaution
• Able to perform all responsibilities safely and efficiently
• Clean and conduct proper maintenance on equipment
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• High School diploma
• Driving experience preferred
• Must have a driving record that meets company standards
• Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening
• A CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred
• Able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
