Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Ellsworth, Maine is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time CDL Delivery Drivers. Responsibilities include operating forklift, loading and unloading materials, and delivering to customers while providing excellent service.

Preference given to candidates with a clean Class A or B license, and experience with building materials. USDOT testing compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Clean and valid Class A or B driver’s license.
• Experience with handling building materials a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• Compliance with USDOT testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard.
• Perform customer deliveries using Class B or Class A equipment.
• Provide customer service at the point of delivery.
• Heavy lifting as part of daily duties.

Requirements

• Forklift experience a plus, but not a requirement

Salary Description

$15.10 - $37.00 per hour
