Job summary

C&S Chemicals is seeking a Custom Applicator to join the Ag Services Team. You will mix, load, transport, and apply litter amendments at poultry facilities, following safety and SOP guidelines. Training is provided for candidates with the right attitude and basic qualifications.

The role emphasizes precise chemical handling, equipment operation, and strong customer service, with opportunities for growth within a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A preferred; Class B with hazmat/tanker/air brakes required.
• Clean MVR with no preventable accidents.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and train in new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately apply litter amendments in poultry facilities according to customer specifications.
• Operate and maintain application equipment, including trucks and specialized machinery.
• Monitor application rates and adjust equipment settings as needed.
• Follow SOPs for handling, loading, and applying chemicals such as chlorine-based solutions, acids, pesticides, and disinfectants.
• Deliver exceptional service by being punctual, professional, and responsive to customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, application rates, and service details.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding hazardous materials.

This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills.
