Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a truck driver to transfer product between locations and warehouses. The role involves long-distance interstate driving, loading/unloading, verifying parts and paperwork, and obtaining receiving signatures. Night shifts may be required.

The position offers competitive pay and benefits. Must hold CDL Class A, be DOT qualified, and meet all DOT/FMCSA regulations. Minimums include a high school diploma and 3+ years related experience, plus 2+ years of driving/warehouse

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; 3+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years of commercial driving and warehouse experience.
• Accredited commercial driving school certificate.
• CDL Class A license; DOT qualification.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must comply with state/local mandated requirements and FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to transfer product between locations, wholesalers and drop box locations in outlying markets.
• Transport product over long distances via interstate/inter-provincial lines crossing state lines.
• Load truck according to safety standards and verify parts and paperwork.
• Obtain signature of receiving location confirming accuracy of parts.
• Sign off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location.
• Complete check-in process when returning to the location and file paperwork.
• Adhere to company policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

3+ years related experience

2+ years commercial driving and warehouse experience

Accredited commercial driving school certificate

CDL Class A license

DOT qualification

DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge
