Job summary

Hope Administrative Services is seeking a CDL Company Driver to operate commercial vans over the road and locally. The role emphasizes safe handling of household goods, timely loading/unloading, and strict adherence to DOT hours of service and safety regulations.

The candidate must be 25 or older, legally eligible to work in the United States, fluent in English, and hold a current Class A CDL with a DOT medical certificate. A clean driving record and ability to pass a road test are required.

Qualifications

• At least 25 years old.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• DOT physical required.
• Comply with DOT hours of service and log book procedures.
• No convictions in last 7 years; able to access military bases if needed.
• No moving violations in last 2 years; verifiable 10-year history.

Responsibilities

• Pack, wrap and load household goods or other items for transport.
• Inventory items identified for transport.
• Assist with loading/unloading at residence or facilities; may include layovers to meet DOT hours.
• Adhere to DOT Hours of Service and safety guidelines.
• Complete training requirements as needed.
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service.
• Ensure vehicle safety, preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Perform vehicle and trailer inspections as required.
• Complete logs (electronic and paper) and submit on time.
• Maintain safe work environment per Safety Program policies.
• Perform any other tasks as required by the organization.

Education

Commercial Driver's License (Class A)

DOT medical certificate

Clean driving record (no major violations in 2 years)
