Job summary

New World Van Lines is seeking a skilled CDL Class C Truck Driver to join our nationwide team. The role involves transporting household goods safely and efficiently between destinations, with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a spotless safety record.

You will work with a modern fleet, support from dispatch, and a strong emphasis on customer service. We offer competitive pay, weekly settlements, sign-on bonuses based on position, per diem, paid hotels, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class B commercial motor vehicle in compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Safely load, secure, and unload household goods and possessions onto the truck and in a customer’s home, ensuring proper handling and care.
• Plan routes to ensure timely delivery while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment.
• Maintain records of mileage and hours of service, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and special requests professionally.
