Job summary

New World Van Lines is seeking a skilled CDL Class C Truck Driver to join our nationwide team. You will transport household goods safely between destinations, with a focus on on-time delivery and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience is required.
• A clean driving record is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations is expected.
• Must maintain safety and professionalism on the job.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to load/unload and handle household goods.
• Flexible hours and overtime when needed.
• Basic computer literacy for electronic logs and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class B/C vehicle in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Ensure safety of driver, cargo, and the public while driving.
• Safely load, secure, and unload household goods at destinations.
• Plan routes for timely delivery and efficiency.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate mileage and log records as required.
• Travel with overnight stays as needed.
• Provide courteous customer service and address inquiries.
• Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routes and efficiency.
• Maintain clean, well-organized truck and trailer.
