Chieftain Trucking & Excavating, a heavy civil contractor based in Northeast Ohio, seeks a full-time CDL B Truck Driver in Cleveland to safely transport materials to local job sites.

This local driving role has no overnight travel. Drivers are home every night and will work with our field crews to keep projects running smoothly, adhering to DOT and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with a clean driving record
• Experience operating commercial trucks (dump trucks and other heavy vehicles)
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to perform general vehicle inspections and minor maintenance

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CDL Class B Truck Driver position based in Cleveland, OH. You will operate commercial vehicles to safely and efficiently transport materials to and from local job sites.

This is a local driving position with no overnight travel. Drivers are home every night and are not required to stay out of town or travel long distances for extended periods.

Duties include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the safe loading and unloading of materials, and following all DOT, company, and job site safety regulations. Drivers work closely with our field crews to keep projects running efficiently and may perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed.
