Job summary

Beaudry Oil and Service, Inc in Elk River, MN is seeking a CDL Class B Tankwagon driver to join our Transportation Department. Full-time role involves operating tractor with tanker, picking up propane/fuel, delivering to facilities, and maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One (1) year relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
• Valid Class B State Driver's License with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Ability to safely drive various vehicles
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions
• Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds

Full-Time, 45+ hours per week

Work Hours (5AM-3PM)

The truck driver will perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans in support of the Transportation Department. This driver my operate a tractor with a tanker trailer to pick up products at the supply points and deliver it to area facilities.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Drive assigned Tractor/Tanker trailer to pick up propane/fuel and deliver to assigned facilities
• Perform required daily vehicle inspections
• Safety and efficiently transfer products between transport and bulk storage
• Maintain DOT compliance
• Performing routine inspection and preventive maintenance
• Performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
