Sewer Cleaning Company, LLC in Eastlake, OH is hiring a CDL Class B Driver / Vactor & Hydro Excavation Operator to join our Northeast Ohio team. This is a local, home-every-night position with Monday-Friday hours, overtime opportunities, and paid training.

You'll operate Vactor and hydro excavation trucks on commercial, municipal, industrial, and residential projects. Training provided, with certifications paid by the company; no prior experience required in Vactor/Hydro excavation.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement.
• Insurable driving record and clean background.
• Able to pass DOT drug screen and DOT physical.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays.
• Comfortable working outdoors in Ohio weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vactor and hydro excavation trucks.
• Perform hydro excavation around utilities.
• Clean catch basins, drains, manholes, lift stations, grease traps, sanitary lines.
• Perform high-pressure jetting and vacuum work.
• Set up work zones and traffic control.
• Maintain, fuel, grease, and inspect your truck.

Sewer Cleaning Company, LLC | Eastlake, OH

We're hiring a CDL Class B Driver / Vactor & Hydro Excavation Operator to join our team in Northeast Ohio. This is a local, home-every-night position with consistent Monday-Friday hours, overtime opportunities, and paid training.

You'll operate combination Vactor and hydro excavation trucks on commercial, municipal, industrial, and residential projects. Experience with vacuum trucks or hydro excavation is helpful—but not required. We will train the right candidate.

Compensation & Schedule

• $25-$27/hour, depending on experience
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Paid every two weeks
• Monday-Friday
• Start around 7:00 AM
• Typically finished between 4:00-5:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays
• Home every night
• All work is local throughout Northeast Ohio

What You'll Do

• Operate Vactor and hydro excavation trucks
• Perform hydro excavation around gas, water, and electric utilities
• Clean catch basins, storm drains, manholes, lift stations, grease traps, and sanitary lines
• Perform high-pressure jetting and vacuum work
• Haul and properly dispose of debrisSet up work zones and traffic control
• Maintain, fuel, grease, and inspect your truck

Training & Certifications

No prior Vactor or hydro excavation experience? No problem.

You'll ride with an experienced operator and receive hands-on training until you're confident operating the equipment. The company also pays for required certifications, including Tanker endorsement, OSHA 10/30, confined space, and traffic control certifications.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement
• 21+ years old due to insurance requirements
• Insurable driving record
• No DUI within the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
• Must pass DOT drug screen, DOT physical, background check, and MVR review
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in all Ohio weather
• Willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
