Austin Powder Company in Mount Hope, WV seeks a CDL Class A/B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver our bulk explosives and related products. You will operate mobile manufacturing units on customer sites and perform on-site labor.
This role requires agility with manuals, strong safety focus, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work early hours outdoors; hazmat and ATF qualifications are highly preferred.

Job Summary The CDL Class B Driver/Operator is instrumental in the safe and reliable transportation and delivery of our products, efficient in the operation of our mobile manufacturing vehicles, and provides labor support at job sites along with being a part of our home base location’s success. The Driver/Operator directly reports to the Location Manager.
Education and Experience Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT High school diploma or equivalent.
Reporting Relationships Reports to the Location Manager for daily operations and when on-site at a customer’s location, will take instructions from Blaster-In-Charge.
Work Environment and Physical Demands This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting and carrying approximately 50 lbs. and doing a variety of hands‑on physical tasks utilizing material handling equipment, safety equipment and hand tools.
