Job summary

Rio Grande Co. is looking for a CDL Class B Driver to join our Denver, CO operations team. You will safely deliver finished goods and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Founded in 1893, Rio Grande Co. has served Colorado's construction sector for over 132 years, evolving into a trusted distributor and building materials resource. A minimum of 2 years' Class B driving experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to pass background and drug testing are required for this

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL appropriate for vehicle weight.
• At least 2 years experience driving a Class B truck.
• Must pass background and drug testing as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operates a semi-truck according to state and federal transportation laws.
• Transports loads safely and on time while following routes and safety regulations.
• Manages loading/unloading using appropriate equipment and signals.
• Maintains invoices and shipping documents and delivers documentation to the office.
• Participates in routine vehicle maintenance and reports issues to Dispatcher/Garage.
• Arranges trailers in yards for optimal loading patterns.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
