Job summary

Opportunity Food Group seeks a dedicated CDL Driver with a Class B license to operate refrigerated straight trucks and ensure safe, on-time deliveries across designated routes. You will be the face of our transportation team, loading, unloading, and coordinating with dispatch while upholding the highest safety standards.

The role is typically Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays, home daily, and offers benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license with clean driving record.
• Experience operating refrigerated straight trucks.
• Experience with route planning and on-time deliveries.
• Ability to load/unload freight safely using equipment when required.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and freight regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate refrigerated straight trucks on designated routes.
• Load and unload freight using forklift or related equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and maintenance.
• Manage routes to meet delivery schedules while following traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries.
