Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local jobsites in a safe, timely manner with our company fleet. You will unload using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place materials exactly where customers need them and provide friendly service.

The role emphasizes home nights, a stable schedule, and opportunities for advancement within the growing company and its thirteen-state footprint.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our fleet.
• Unload on site using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place materials at the customer’s location.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to company policies.
