Job summary

Conexwest Shipping Containers in Fontana, California is seeking a reliable CDL Class A Truck Driver for local and occasional out-of-state routes. You will pick up and deliver 40FT and 20FT empty containers from our depot, ensuring timely service and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities include route planning, vehicle inspections, logkeeping, and operating GPS/AVL equipment. The role requires a clean driving record, willingness to pass background and drug checks, and availability

Qualifications

CDL Class A license is required.
1 year of commercial driving experience is required.
Proven experience as a Truck Driver is expected.
Experience using smartphone apps and devices (GPS/AVL/CB) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Transport containers by road to manufacturing plants, retailers, and clients.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues; perform preventative maintenance.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Document work/rest periods and log kilometers; keep fuel and toll receipts.
Enter loading/unloading macros into the system for each stage of the process.
Comply with trucking regulations and company policies on size, weight, routes, parking, and breaks.
