Job summary

Class A Recruiting Inc. is seeking experienced or trainee flatbed drivers for regional/oTR routes in the Chicago area. Earn $1,400–$1,600 per week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus available to experienced flatbed drivers.

Enjoy home weekends (5 out, 2 home days) and steady freight with reliable pay. Requirements include a minimum age of 22, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen. Trainees need 1 year of Over-the-Road or Regional experience; experienced drivers require 6 months flatbed

Qualifications

• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (urine test).
• Moving violations: no more than 3 in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Tarpping and strapping down loads as required.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver freight on time; maintain logs and trip documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Objective

Class A home weekends steady pay and reliable freight for experienced flatbed drivers, Class A Recruiting/Overhaul Carriers Ltd.

Trainees

must have 1 year of Over-the-Road or Regional experience and Flatbed experience is not needed.

Experience Drivers

Minimum 6 months Flatbed experience and 1 year of Over the Road or Regional experience.

Compensation

$1400 to $1600 per week and $5000 sign on bonus for experience flatbed drivers only.

Home Weekends

5 out and 2 days home with your family.

Duties

• Tarpping and strapping down certain loads
• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• minimum age of 22.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, Urine Test.

Moving Violation

No more 3 in the last 3 years.

Accident

• No more than one at fault accident.
• Recent at fault rollover in the past year.
• No failed DOT alcohol/drug tests lifetime.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

Will review.

• Experienced: None in the past 5 years
• Trainee: None in the past 3 years.
