Role Description

The CDL Class A Truck Driver role at Timberline Forestry LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Angier, NC. The driver is responsible for safely operating Class A commercial vehicles to transport logs, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.

Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads in compliance with safety standards, and following designated routes and schedules. The role also involves collaborating with field crews, communicating effectively with dispatch and supervisors, and maintaining accurate delivery and mileage records. Drivers are expected to follow all DOT regulations, adhere to company safety policies, and support efficient operations in varying outdoor and site conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Experience operating commercial trucks and trailers, including loading, unloading, and load securement.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and routine preventative maintenance checks.
• Comfort working in outdoor, forestry, or construction environments and navigating rural or off-road locations.
• Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
