Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable over-the-road experience operating 48'–53' trailers.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods.
• Able to climb, bend, stoop, and kneel repeatedly.
• Demonstrated history of safe driving and adherence to traffic regulations.
• Must be able to work in varying climate conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Experience recording trailer movements using ToughBook and Shuttle Tote Board and operating ELD systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance: complete trailer logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Transport 48'–53' trailers over short distances (under 20 miles) and record movements.
• Spot trailers to support yard and warehouse operations.
• Fuel trucks and perform routine checks for safe operation.
• Assist receiving team with trailer movements or dock tasks.
• Operate ELD systems for hours of service tracking.
• Conduct lot verifications for trailer placement and inventory.
• Adhere to ISO and SQF guidelines and company policies.
