Job summary

Fisher Industries is seeking a Parts Runner CDL Class A to safely transport items to and from various destinations. The role includes substantial travel, overnight trips, and weekend work, with responsibilities for inventory maintenance and on-site equipment operation.

The candidate must hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements, have at least 1 year of flatbed experience, and pass pre-employment drug testing along with a DOT medical certificate. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must have valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Transport loads safely and reliably to designated destinations.
• Make accurate and prompt deliveries to job sites across the region.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Secure loads in compliance with regulations and company policy.
• Deliver parts and equipment to job sites from San Diego, CA to Laredo, TX and beyond.
• Travel extensively, including overnight travel and weekends.
• Operate heavy equipment (skid steers, forklifts, excavators, wheel loaders).
• Maintain inventory control and notify supervisors of shortages or issues.
