Job summary

Divert is seeking a CDL Class A driver for its Plymouth, Indiana location. You will handle all CDL driving needs for the site, including night shifts, coordinating with logistics and production teams, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Role includes maintaining logs, performing pre/post trips, and occasionally operating a forklift. This is a safety-sensitive position with overtime as required, and the company offers solid benefits and home daily routes.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with no automatic restriction.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience, including dry van hauling.
• Overnight haul availability once per month.
• Doubles endorsement required.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Familiarity with slip seating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A vehicles in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain daily truck logs using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Perform essential physical functions and connect/disconnect air and electrical lines.
• Install tire chains as required by weather.
• Move and swap trailers as needed at the facility.
• Coordinate with Divert Logistics and Production teams for smooth operations.
• Handle paperwork for shipments.
• Fuel vehicles with company-issued cards and manage emergencies.
• Optimize routes for efficiency.
• Occasionally perform forklift duties as needed.
