Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking an Experienced CDL Class A Laborer / Operator to join our union crew in Minnesota. This is a hands-on field position working on trenchless sewer rehabilitation projects and supporting the crew with equipment setup, material handling, and on-site operations.

The role requires physical labor, outdoor work in varying weather, and travel to job sites with extended hours. Pay is hourly with a union benefits structure, and CDL A is mandatory.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work and lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willing and able to travel based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CIPP and trenchless sewer rehabilitation projects.
• Set up and break down equipment, hoses, materials, and jobsite areas.
• Operate construction equipment and machinery when qualified.
• Assist with sewer cleaning, preparation, lining, and rehabilitation activities.
• Load, unload, move, and stage equipment and materials.
• Perform physical labor, including lifting, pulling, digging, and working around manholes and sewer systems.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Work with the crew to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Follow all Company and jobsite safety requirements.
• Travel to jobsites and work extended hours as required by project schedules.
