Job summary

Steve Ford Trucking is seeking drivers who can be home daily and run nights and weekends. Drivers will load/unload with an electric pallet jack and reload returns to the distribution center. Must live within 45 miles of Fredericksburg, VA, and have at least 4 months of tractor-trailer experience.

Expect average weekly pay of $1,735 with no NYC assignments. All freight is no-touch; equipment includes 2 year or newer Freightliner Cascadia and in-vehicle amenities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with valid Class A CDL & 4+ months tractor-trailer experience.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment hair and urine drug screen.
• No DUI, Felonies, or misdemeanors in last 5 years.
• Cannot have been terminated from last job for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using an electric pallet jack.
• Operate nights and weekends; home daily within 45 miles of Fredericksburg, VA.
• No touch freight; unload freight at the distribution center.

On this fleet Drivers will load and unload their trailers using an electric pallet jack, and reload returns back to the distribution center.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL & 4 MO Tractor Trailor EXPERANCE
• Must have fairly clean driving record.
• Cannot have been TERMINATED from last job FOR ANY REASON
• No DUI's Felonies, Misdemeanors in the last 5 years
• Must be able to pass a HAIR & Urine pre-employment drug screen.
• NO SAP DRIVERS
