Independent Logistics is seeking an experienced CDL Class A driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to join our team in the Smyrna, TN and Shelbyville, TN area. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable operating commercial equipment while hauling hazardous materials.

Applicants must hold a CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, maintain a clean driving record, and pass all DOT/FMCSA drug/alcohol testing.

CDL Class A Hazmat & Tanker Driver

Location: Smyrna, TN / Shelbyville, TN area

Position: CDL Class A Truck Driver

Endorsements Required: Hazmat (H) & Tanker (N)

We are looking for an experienced and dependable CDL Class A driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to join our team. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable operating commercial equipment while hauling hazardous materials.

Compensation & Benefit

• Up to $35.00 per hour for the right candidate based on experience and qualifications
• First-shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Typically 5–7 days per week
• Some weekend work required
• Health/insurance benefits available

• Accrued paid time off (PTO)

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A
• Current Hazmat endorsement
• Current Tanker endorsement
• Clean and safe driving record
• Dependable and professional
• Ability to safely operate and inspect commercial vehicles
• Previous tanker and/or Hazmat experience preferred
• Must be able to pass all required DOT/FMCSA qualifications and drug/alcohol testing
