The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL (Class A or B depending on vehicle), a clean driving record, and experience hauling construction materials. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work overtime including weekends as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Class A or B CDL or as required by vehicle type.
• Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction.
• Experience hauling construction materials or equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with load securement and DOT safety practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and assist with loading/unloading.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate commercial vehicles (dump, flatbed, trailer) to transport materials and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks using proper methods to prevent damage or injury.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage, and trip documentation.
• Follow schedules and dispatch directions; communicate with supervisors.
• Secure loads with chains, binders, tarps, or straps; ensure proper restraint.
• Comply with DOT, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Assist crews with labor or site tasks when deliveries are complete.
• Report mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
