Job summary

Spectrum Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A truck operator for Decatur, AL and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years’ experience with vacuum and bulk tankers, roll-off trailers, and Hazmat endorsements. Endorsements for Tanker and Hazmat are required.

Candidate must be willing to work nights and weekends, with flexibility for out-of-town projects and a valid U.S. work authorization. Safety and compliance are emphasized in every assignment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience operating vacuum and bulk tankers, roll-off trailers
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
• Experience transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials

Responsibilities

• Obey traffic laws and safe operation of tractor trailers and equipment
• Maintain detailed logs of working hours per state/federal regulations
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
• Report defects, accidents, and violations
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and daily maintenance
• Load and unload cargo as required and interact with customers professionally
