Job summary

Meyer Logistics Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Regional Day Shift Driver to transport aftermarket auto accessories from our own distribution centers to Cross Docks. This position uses a Dry Van Tractor Trailer with forklift support, offering stable, growth-oriented employment and strong home time.

Responsibilities include safe freight handling, pre/post-trip inspections, and DOT-compliant paperwork. Expect typical 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A tractor-trailer driving experience with vehicles over 26,000 lbs.
• Valid CDL Class A License with no restrictions
• Working knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Ability to meet all DOT medical and safety requirements
• Must successfully complete required drug and alcohol screening
• Acceptable background investigation results
• Ability and willingness to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to safely perform heavy lifting of 75+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver freight in a timely, efficient, and legal manner
• Hook and unhook trailers and properly secure freight
• Install and remove tire chains as needed
• Load and unload freight, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying materials
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift, manlift, and pallet jack
• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift
• Complete required paperwork and maintain DOT-compliant records
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine equipment inspections
• Report maintenance needs and equipment defects promptly
• Follow all state, federal, and DOT regulations
• Maintain compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Represent the Company and the transportation industry in a professional manner
• Perform heavy lifting of 75+ lbs.
