Job summary

Orgill, Inc. is seeking a Driver to support distribution center operations by delivering hardware-related merchandise to customers and transporting returned items back to the distribution center.

The role may include shuttling merchandise to consolidation facilities. Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailer combinations, verifying delivery instructions, and maintaining logs in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience preferred.
• Must pass Orgill's physical assessment and background check.
• Excellent MVR record; able to pass a background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds with appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations to deliver products to Orgill customers.
• Collect delivery instructions, verify routes and instructions.
• Maintain electronic logs and other documentation per regulations.
• Secure cargo for transport using load bars and straps.
• Obtain receipts or signatures and collect payment when required.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; plan daily trips.
