Job summary

RDP Foodservice in the United States is seeking a full-time OTR Class A CDL Delivery Driver to transport foodservice items safely to customers along your route. You will verify orders, check in with customers about service quality, and represent RDP Foodservice with care at every stop.

You will complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain paperwork, and work a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical and possess a valid medical card.
• Able to pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol screenings.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS An OTR CLASS A CDL DELIVERY DRIVER IN FOODSERVICE

As one of our full-time OTR Class A CDL Delivery Drivers, you are a hero that transports our foodservice items in a safe, timely manner into the hands of our grateful customers along your designated route. You also check-in with our customers on their experience with our service and handle all concerns with care. With attention-to-detail, you compare inventory with checklist quantities, accurately complete all tasks, as well as positively represent RDP Foodservice at each stop. You are conscientious about completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. You keep all necessary paperwork up to date.

JOB DETAILS

• Base pay starting at $30 per hour
• Earn an extra $4 an hour while on an OTR route
• Out 2 nights a week
• M-F schedule
• OTR routes can range 500 to 1000 cases and 6 to 12 stops per route
• Hotel Reimbursement or $50 a night paid expense along with $25 per day food expense for OTR routes
• $200 per month Attendance bonus
• $750 per quarter Safety/Professionalism bonus

CLASS A CDL DELIVERY DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant experience
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. - 80 lbs.
• Able to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Able to deliver down a ramp with a dolly
• Current Class A CDL and acceptable driving record
• Must pass a DOT physical and possess a valid medical card
• Can pass pre-employment and on-going random drug and alcohol screenings
• Able to pass a background check
• Have reliable transportation to and from work

WORK SCHEDULE

Deliveries are scheduled Monday- Friday. CDL Class A OTR Drivers are scheduled Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday.
