Job summary

Contract Lumber, Inc. in Blackstone, VA is seeking a CDL-A Truck Driver for local, home-daily routes. Monday–Friday, 1st shift with overtime as needed.

Pay range $24-27 per hour plus full benefits, profit sharing and a 401(k). You will load, secure and deliver materials and maintain DOT-compliant paperwork while delivering excellent customer service. We value a great attitude, teamwork, and safety, with training on Piggyback or Princeton forklift and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with current DOT-regulation compliant driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Willingness to learn piggyback or Princeton forklift.
• Excellent communication with team and customers.
• Strict adherence to safety and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material.
• Inspections of delivery vehicles per DOT requirements.
• Maintain all required paperwork.
• Check load for accuracy.
• Ensure loads are secured before leaving yard or job site.
• Communicate clearly with employees, management, and customers.
