Job summary

Contract Lumber, Inc. in Folkston, GA seeks a CDL-A Driver for local runs. This full-time role offers a 1st shift, typically 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed and excellent benefits.

You will load, secure, and deliver lumber, perform DOT vehicle inspections, and maintain required paperwork. You’ll be part of a team that values reliability, safety, and clear communication. Local work means you are home each night.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• Ability to learn forklift types (Piggyback/Princeton).
• Driving record must meet DOT standards.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Team player with a great attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material.
• Vehicle inspections per DOT requirements.
• Maintain all required paperwork.
• Check load for accuracy.
• Ensure all loads are secured before leaving yard and/or job site.
• Communicate clearly with employees, management, and customers.

Pay Range: $22-26/hr. (based on experience)

Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible)

40hrs/wk. (ability to work overtime, when needed)

• Load, secure, and deliver material
• Inspections of delivery vehicles, per DOT requirements
• Maintain all required paperwork
• Check load for accuracy
• Ensure all loads are safely secured before leaving yard and or job site

Skill Set
