Job summary

Aetna Building Solutions, a Midwest-based distributor of building materials, is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver for a local, home-daily role in Indianapolis, IN. No long-haul routes; weekend/holiday work not required. You will deliver materials, secure loads, and support warehouse operations with a safety-first mindset.

Starting pay is $27+ per hour, with a $2000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include major health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with profit sharing, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Requires valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record per DOT requirements.
• Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience, including flatbed or curtain-side work.
• Must pass background check, physical, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Deliver building materials locally within the service area.
• Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and proper load securing.
• Assist with loading/unloading and basic truck organization.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete delivery documentation.

Aetna Building Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-driven CDL Class A Driver to join our operations team. This is a local driving position, meaning you’ll be home every night, weekend, and holiday - no long-haul routes or overnights.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations
• Deliver building materials to customer locations across the local service area
• Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and secure loads properly
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer confirmations
• Maintain a clean and organized truck
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
• Support warehouse operations as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Clean driving record meeting DOT requirements
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience
• 2+ years of experience with flatbed, curtain-side, or similar equipment
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to safety, reliability, and time management
• Comfortable working independently while staying connected with the team
• Must pass a background check, physical assessment, and drug test
