Job summary

Standard Trucking LLC is seeking a professional CDL Class A Driver for OTR operations to transport general freight safely and on time. You will be responsible for pre-trip/post-trip inspections, securing loads, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

The role requires compliance with DOT regulations and safe driving practices. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong communication with dispatch, with flexible scheduling and weekend/home-time considerations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• At least 12 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screenings.
• Ability to meet physical demands including securement of loads and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A CMV.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and secure loads.
• Manage paperwork (bills of lading, manifests) and comply with DOT regulations including HOS.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delays and delivery status.
• Ensure timely delivery while providing excellent customer service at pickup/delivery sites.
