Job summary

Miller Environmental Group is seeking a CDL Class A Driver / Field Laborer to support environmental services operations in Bohemia, NY. The role combines safe operation of CDL vehicles with hands-on field labor in remediation, waste transport, and spill response.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid, unrestricted CDL Class A license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and perform heavy physical labor.
• Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A vehicles safely and in DOT compliance.
• Transport materials between job sites, facilities, and disposal locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain DOT logs and compliance docs.
• Load/unload tools and materials; secure loads for hazardous materials.
• Drive various CDL units including tractors, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
