Job summary

EnviroServe, a Clean Harbors company, in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. The role involves on-site hazardous waste cleanup and non-driving duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements should be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to use mobile devices for on-site tasks.
• Must be able to perform physical work as part of the role.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required by position.
• Respiratory protection guidelines may apply per OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs.
• Load and unload materials; perform manual labor on-site to meet customer needs.
• Ensure proper placarding and compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Maintain logs, time sheets and reports; observe safety and environmental health guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis and assist with site remediation when required.
