Job summary

Penhall Company in Honolulu, HI seeks a CDL Truck Driver to operate a Class A tractor with an end dump trailer and roll-off truck, hauling demolition debris and concrete between sites while following DOT safety rules.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of verifiable CDL driving, a clean driving record, and the ability to work early starts, overtime, and weekends. DOT medical card required; drug test and FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with no E, L, Z, or O restrictions.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Must pass the pre-employment DOT drug test and FMCSA Clearinghouse query.
• Minimum 2–3+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Roll-off truck experience or ability to qualify quickly.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to work early starts, overtime, and some nights/weekends.
• Able to climb in and out of equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanically inclined is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-class commercial vehicles.
• Drive a Class A tractor with a manual transmission, pulling an end dump trailer.
• Run a roll-off truck to deliver, place, swap, and pick up bins at jobsites.
• Load, haul, and dump debris and materials safely.
• Tarp and secure loads and stay within weight limits and DOT rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Report defects and maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow jobsite safety plans and spotter instructions.
• Assist with yard and equipment duties when not hauling.
