Job summary

CAR UPS Cartage Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver/Dockworker to perform timely pickup, labeling, loading and delivery of shipments, using the required equipment and procedures.

This role may involve operating a tractor-trailer to multiple customer locations and returning to the domicile within the same shift, with day, night, and weekend work. You will load/unload, ship/receive, and scan packages, leveraging MHE like pallet movers and stand-up forklifts, and lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid CDL license (commercial driver's license) in home state.
• HazMat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, ship, receive, scan, sort, and stock packages; may use heavy machinery.
• Deliver and pick up packages to residential and commercial properties.
• Utilize safe transportation methods to reach destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication.
• Operate MHE such as pallet movers and stand-up forklifts.
• Drive tractor-trailer between customer sites and domicile; may work days, nights, weekends.
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the uniform.
