Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in North Little Rock, AR seeks a full-time Distribution Driver Class A to deliver beverage products statewide, inspect vehicles, and manage loading, unloading, and payments. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with DOT regulations while maintaining records and driving efficiency.

The role requires a CDL, DOT certification, and at least 1 year of driving experience, with a focus on reliable, customer-friendly service and adherence to all safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• DOT certification is required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver statewide products to bars, restaurants, hotels, etc.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
• Receive payment for goods delivered
• Sort merchandise by the invoice for delivery
• Adhere to the safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle
• Complete all required paperwork daily, including DOT logbook and DVIR
• Report to work in accordance with company uniform standards
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documents to transport goods
• Load and unload cargo with proper safety equipment
• Ensure cargo is secured properly per safety requirements
• Report any incidents to the dispatcher
• Follow traffic laws at all times
• Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment orderly
• Perform other related duties as assigned
