Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a CDL Class A Driver in Albuquerque to safely transport and deliver product from the distribution center to customers, ensuring proper unloading per invoices and Dawn standards.

The role is full-time and benefits-eligible with health insurance starting Day 1, a signing bonus, 401(k), holidays, PTO, and opportunities for career growth within a family-owned company with 100+ years in service.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license in good standing.
• Minimum of 6 months Class A driving experience.
• Must be able to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently.
• Ability to operate MHE equipment.
• Experience delivering into food service accounts preferred.
• Lift-gate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful.
• Computer skills or experience with electronic logs helpful.

Responsibilities

• Obey all federal, state, and local rules and regulations including DOT, safe food handling procedures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, competent, and professional manner.
• In DSD settings, break down product and complete shelf stacking at each stop.
• Drive and maintain multi-temp trailers.
• Offload with electric pallet jacks/two wheelers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and collect invoice receipts.
