Job summary
Dawn Foods is a global leader in bakery manufacturing and ingredients distribution, seeking a CDL Class A Driver to deliver products to customers from our distribution center. This full-time, benefits-eligible role involves operating multi-temp trailers, loading and unloading with pallet jacks, and rigorous safety/compliance on DOT procedures.

- Minimum of 6 months Class A CDL driving experience
- Ability to work in the United States
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently throughout work shift
- Ability to operate MHE equipment
- Experience delivering into food service accounts is preferred
- Lift-gate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful
- Computer skills or experience with electronic logs helpful
Responsibilities
- Obey all federal, state, and local rules and regulations of the road including all DOT operating, recording and safe food handling procedures
- Conduct daily face to face interaction with customers, representing Dawn Foods in a friendly, competent, and professional manner
- In a DSD (direct store delivery) setting, break down product and complete shelf stacking at each stop
- Driving and maintaining multi-temp trailers
- Offloading with electric pallet jacks/two wheelers
- Performing pre and post trip vehicle inspections as well as collecting invoice receipts that are generated from the deliveries

- Monday - Friday: Dependent on route, average 5 days per week.
- Start Times range from: 3:00 am - 5:00 am (dependent on route)
- End Times range from: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm (until the route has been completed)
- Routes will not exceed DOT hours.
- Weekend work may be required based on business needs.
- Minimum of 1 overnight (layover) route per week.
As a Driver for Dawn Foods, you will support our customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the distribution center by driving a tractor-trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading product according to customer invoices and Dawn team standards.
This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position.
Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
- Class "A" CDL License in good standing
