Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a CDL Class A Driver in Oakland, CA. The role offers a pay rate of $30.00–$32.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend availability as needed. Morning and Night shifts are available to fit your preference and routes.

Join our team to transport containers and freight between ports, rail yards, and customer sites while following DOT and FMCSA regulations. TWIC card and 1 year CDL experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• TWIC card required.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Transport containers, freight, and cargo between ports, rail yards, warehouses, and customer locations.
• Pick up and deliver loads on schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; secure cargo and verify load accuracy.
• Complete electronic logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection reports.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, and delays.
• Follow all company safety policies and customer requirements.
• Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, or accidents immediately.
