Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Downey, CA is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a full-time role starting at 4am with overtime as needed. The position includes a union, medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, and vacation benefits.

Core duties include safe operation of a commercial vehicle, unloading and delivering products to local customers, and pre-trip/post-trip inspections. PIT/MHE equipment operation is required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Required Education and Experience: 1+ years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• The primary duty is the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle and courteous delivery of products to customers.
• Unload and deliver products to local customers and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack or hand truck.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position responsibilities:

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers

• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle

• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
