Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products, delivering safety, reliability, and efficiency across a fast‑growing market. This on‑site driver/yard role offers hands‑on work from the driver’s seat to the yard, loading and unloading materials and maintaining accurate records.

You’ll operate light and heavy equipment, confirm orders, and support the team to ensure timely, safe deliveries. CDL Class A or B preferred; prior similar experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL License – Class A or Class B preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Drive with safety, efficiency, and courtesy; perform regular vehicle inspections.
• Verify and load orders onto vehicles with precision.
• Assist with loading, unloading, stocking, and organizing merchandise using equipment.

• Be a Yard Pro: Assist with loading, unloading, stocking, and organizing merchandise using equipment like hand trucks and forklifts. Secure materials properly to prevent damage.
• Stay Organized: Keep accurate records and complete all required paperwork according to company policies. Report any equipment maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Respond to the Unexpected: Report any yard incidents immediately, no matter how small. Document and submit all necessary information for swift resolution.
• Go Beyond: Be ready to step in wherever needed to support team success and drive operational efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

• License to Drive: CDL License – Class A or Class B preferred.
