Job summary

DSG Supply in Ames, IA is seeking a CDL Class A Delivery Driver for a full-time, hourly role. Work typically 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional changes for business needs.

Primary duties include delivering product to customers and jobsites, loading, unloading, securing and transporting materials. As a CDL Delivery Driver you’ll support warehouse operations and coordinate with teammates to ensure safe, timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with current medical card (required).
• Basic product and warehouse/delivery knowledge within 1–3 years.
• Attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Strong planning, organization and time-management abilities.
• Safety training on material handling and forklift driving.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery truck safely per policy.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff on loading instructions.
• Inspect truck/trailer to ensure proper working order.
• Communicate delivery dates and times with customers.
• Drive within ~150 miles of the branch.
• Deliver to customers' locations and unload as directed.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA and OSHA regulations; complete required training.
• Operate forklift and use RF scanner to track status.
• Maintain safe driving record and perform other duties as assigned.
