Job summary

Townsend Building Supply, a division of Carter Lumber, is seeking CDL Delivery Specialists to transport orders to local jobsites with a well-maintained fleet, delivering on time and providing friendly service.

You will unload on site using dump beds or truck-mounted forklifts, stay aligned with daily schedules, and enjoy being part of a family-owned company that values growth and people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time.
• Unload materials on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift.

Description:

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements:

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
