Job summary

DSG is seeking a CDL Class A/B Delivery Driver in Plymouth, MN for a full-time hourly role. Primary duties include delivering products to customers and jobsites, loading/unloading, and ensuring secure transport with typical hours 7 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday.

A valid CDL and medical card are required, with DOT compliance and safety training emphasized. The role also involves warehouse tasks when not on deliveries, operating a forklift, and using an RF scanner to track orders.

Qualifications

• CDL with current medical card (required).
• 1–3 years of relevant warehouse/delivery knowledge.
• Attention to detail and ability to plan and organize work.
• Safety training on material handling and forklift driving.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 70–325 lbs with aid.
• Prior computer knowledge and RF scanner usage.

Responsibilities

• Load delivery truck safely according to policy.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff on loading.
• Inspect truck and trailer per DOT standards.
• Report safety or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Communicate delivery dates and times with customers.
• Drive to customer locations within ~150 miles of the branch.
• Unload materials at customer sites and secure them.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA and OSHA compliance, and complete required training.
• Follow DSG safety policies and operate the vehicle safely.
• Assist in warehouse duties when not driving, including order fulfillment and stocking.
• Operate forklift and use RF scanner to track product status.
