Job summary

Fairweather, LLC seeks Maintenance Technicians for its DAC facilities in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and operational support in a remote Arctic environment, supporting aircraft operations and facility upkeep.

Ideal candidates are technically skilled, safety-focused, and capable of working independently on a rotational 12-hour shift, with required PPE and potential for night work. Accommodations are provided for this remote posting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification.
  • 3–5 years of maintenance, construction, airport operations, or FBO support experience.
  • Current Alaska Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain AOA & SIDA security clearances (10-year background).
  • Must pass criminal history background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 75 lbs.
  • Work long 12-hour shifts in a rotational schedule, including occasional night work.
  • Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely.
  • Wear required PPE, including cold-weather survival gear.

What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification
  • Three to five years of experience in maintenance, construction, airport operations, or FBO support
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Current Alaska Driver’s License
  • Ability to obtain AOA & SIDA Security Clearances (10-year background requirement)
  • Must pass a criminal history background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
