Job summary

Turner Mining Group in Harmony, WI is seeking an experienced Directional Drilling Locator to join our team. You will partner with a drill operator to safely install underground fiber conduit and larger-diameter pipe at job sites around Harmony.

The ideal candidate has hands-on HDD locating experience, is proficient with DCI/DigiTrak or Underground Magnetics equipment, and holds a valid Class A CDL with air-brake endorsement. You must be able to work outdoors in a two-person crew.

Directional Drilling Locators - Harmony, WI

Turner Mining Group is hiring experienced Directional Drilling Locators to join their team in Harmony, WI. This role involves working closely with a drill operator to safely and accurately install underground fiber conduit and larger-diameter pipe. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with HDD locating equipment, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork outdoors.

What You’ll Need

• Previous HDD drill-locating experience
• Experience with DCI/DigiTrak or Underground Magnetics locating equipment
• Valid Class A CDL with air-brake experience
• Experience towing heavy equipment using a truck and trailer
• Familiarity with directional drilling, underground fiber, conduit, and utility construction
• Ability to operate a mud vacuum and assist with drill operations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a two-person crew
• Dependable attendance and ability to report to the Harmony shop each morning
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding fieldwork
