Job summary

Greyhound is seeking a full-time bus driver in Memphis, TN to transport passengers on designated routes with safety and a strong focus on the customer experience. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow schedules, assist passengers, and report any maintenance or safety issues according to company policy.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed with Class A or B CDL.
• Passenger 16+ endorsement and no air brake restriction.
• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Full-time employment consideration only.
• Ability to work a varied schedule based on regional driver needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bus safely following routes and schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report maintenance issues and incidents to authorities.
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and belongings.
• Follow emergency procedures and company protocols.
• Keep mileage and fuel records as required.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain communication with dispatch as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Follow designated routes and schedules, making necessary adjustments when required
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers by providing assistance when needed
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
• Report any maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate authorities
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing their personal belongings
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents in accordance with company protocols
• Keep records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other required documentation
• Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Fully Licensed with Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Possesses Passenger 16+ endorsement and no air brake restriction
• 22 years of age or older
• Able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
• Full-time employment consideration only
• Ability to work varied schedule based on regional driver needs

Compensation Range

USD $28.90 - USD $32.84 /Hr.
