Job summary

Transdev is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join our Sussex County operations. You will ensure safe, reliable transportation for passengers and uphold top-tier customer service standards. Starting pay for fully credentialed CDL holders is $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience with public or multi-passenger vehicles.
• Valid CDL license to operate in revenue service.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical.

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused operations: follow routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols.
• Passenger care: assist passengers, ensure smooth boarding and timely disembarking.
• Vehicle vigilance: perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Adherence to protocols: enforce seat belts and comply with regulatory mandates.
• Other duties as required.
