Job summary

Transdev in Sussex County is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to transport passengers safely and professionally on designated routes while upholding high standards of customer service. Responsibilities include safe driving, pre/post-trip inspections, and assisting riders with boarding and disembarking.

Qualifications include being 21+, a valid CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsements, and strong communication and service skills; flexibility on shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL license to enter revenue service with passenger and airbrake endorsements.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical in accordance with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused operations on designated routes and schedules.
• Provide exceptional passenger care and assist riders for safe boarding and comfortable rides.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues promptly.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement and emergency preparedness.
• Other duties as required.
